April Thomas-Jones, Executive Director
April has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations, Advertising & Journalism, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Pennsylvania State License in Education. April is both passionate and experienced in the areas of education and program development. She has several years of teaching experience with students of various ages, including college adults. She served as the director of the Welcome Play School Youth Center in Delaware County where she developed programs and fostered community relationships. April served as the Assistant Director of Youth Development at the University of Pennsylvania where she implemented enriching academic programs and built curriculum in accordance with the Pennsylvania State Standards. April is eager to utilize her talents and abilities in Education and Program Development to add to the success of Old Pine Community Center.

Kathleen Britt, Administrative Coordinator
Kate has a B.S. in Education and a B.A. in History from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She comes to us after an Americorps year spent with the Special Olympics of Philadelphia were she focused on community outreach and involvement. Kate has several years experience working with children of all ages in both a traditional and non traditional classroom setting. She has spent time working with the Archdiocesan Beacon Programs in a programming capacity, time teaching ecomomics and government at the high school level in Pittsburgh, as well as time coaching high school soccer at Springside School in Chestnut Hill. Kate is hoping to use her experience to help Old Pine Community Center continue to grow and succeed!
